Reliance comm keen to join hands for 2G GSM ICR, Joins with Aircel

Reliance took a new step towards providing free roaming to customers. Check inside for more details.

Reliance communications recently took a big step forward to make sure that their users get uninterrupted services across the country. Reliance, in the campaign to tie up with various Indian telecom operators, made their first deal with Aircel.

According to this campaign, Reliance would tie up with the operators to provide services to their customers in all the circles where Reliance is not present. This will provide free seamless roaming to Reliance users across the country.

This new ICR agreement will increase Reliance Indian footprint to 10000 work stations and will bring in an additional 150 million customers to Reliance. The whole process will include value of worth 10,000 Crore. The agreements with the telecom operators are likely to be signed before the end of second quarter.
