MTS recently launched a innovative product in Data card field. The product was named MTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi. In November when MTS announced new 3G plus network they also said that they will soon bring a revolutionary product in market. Detailed Specifications of MTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi

\r\nThis device offers Internet connectivity via MTS EVDO network and have a maximum download speed upto 14.7 Mbps and Upload speed of 5.4 Mbps. But MTS network has highest capacity of 9.8 Mbps only yet now. Device can offer internet over Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) to maximum 5 devices at a time. If not device can directly offer Internet by connecting to the Laptop. For Wi-Fi service it is not mandatory to connect the device with laptop. MTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi Hands on Review

\r\nMTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi is a decent device which gave all the promised services in our Review test. The device worked with a Mobile charge and delivered Wi-Fi services maximum to 5 devises. Range of Wi-Fi was easily accessible upto 15 Meters  with no obstacle in between. We tried MAC filter and WEP password protection on device which worked perfect. Device automatically get connected in 10 seconds with the best network (among 3G Plus and 1X) as soon as power is provided.\r\n\r\nWe  also tested the device by inserting it into laptop. After the software installation if was asked to choose between Wi-Fi mode or Dongle mode. When you choose Dongle mode, Wi-Fi service automatically get turned off.  No difference was found in speed in both the mode of Connectivity. On device there are two LED indicators one is Wi-Fi indicator and the other one is Network Indicator. If the Wi-Fi indicator (Blue) is blinking that means no device is connected while it is lighting continuously if device(s) are connected. Network Indicator has two colors in LED Green and Red. Red indicates that device is connected on 1X network and Green indicate connectivity is with 3X network.\r\n\r\nMTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi Red light\r\n\r\nIf Speed is concerned, Device was giving its full but the speed highly depends on network load. Sometimes we were able to download a 5 MB file with in just couple of seconds and sometime it cost more than 2 Minutes.\r\n\r\nMTS Mblaze Ultra Speed test\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIf you want to reset your device to factory mode or in case you forgot the password of your MTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi you can reset the Device at one touch. Our Words


Device do all its promise. Installation was simple. In our 10 days use device never shown any glitch. Some problem was experienced when a Wi-Fi device was downloading a big file then other was not getting 10% of speed. That may be problem for sometime and its negligible too.

  1. How good is the MTS MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi service / connectivity in Kolkata and East / North East India. Are there stiff roaming charges outside Kolkata if I take a connection in Kolkata and does it have a really a good Pan India connectivity ?\r\nThanks and regards

    1. Hello Sitangshu Ji,\r\n Thanks for your Question. MTS provide their services in only 9 Circles. Connectivity in West Bengal and Kolkata is good. But except West Bengal no near by state have MTS service so you will be charged for Roaming there.   2. I using MTS M-Blaze Ultra Wi-Fi since last 6 months. its working very good in NCR. Can this work in Bihar also when i will be roaming? or is it take any charges for this, please notify me that is it work in Bihar or not?\r\n\r\nThanks,\r\nAnil Gupta

  3. My mblaze ultra wifi no. Expired. Permanently deactivate . Can I change sim of dongle if it have any SIM card ?? Or it don’t have any sim 🙁
